A Day of Simple Pleasures

Snuggling deeper under warm coversPoet1
On a cool crisp autumn morning

Sipping jasmine green tea
By a Ferris wheel…and writing

Absorbing sun by a fountain of plsimple pleasures 4easure
As children squeal and splash below

Wandering the streets of Paris
Through Monet and the written word

Then lulled to sleep by poetical men
Singing their tales of life and love

The end result:

A heart filled with delight
Gentle dreams in the night

wandering Paris 3wandering Paris 2      wandering Paris
